This one-day learn to scythe course aims to teach and develop the essential practical skills you need to use a scythe effectively. Complete novices, by end of the day, should be able to return home able to cut their own grass with a scythe! Mowers who come with some experience of using a scythe will be able to review their technique and develop their skills.

The course will also cover applied aspects of scythe use, from grassland and wild flower habitat management, to weed control in allotments.
