Watercolour Workshops for Water’s Colour

Practising with watercolour painting at West Stow Country Park.

Two groups explored West Stow Country Park through watercolours this summer. First, the groups were practised colour theory and mark making, creating swirling rainbow-coloured pages of effects. Then, they were able to put the practice into action and create pieces of art inspired by the park itself, with photographs and a walk beside the river Lark for inspiration. Not everyone wanted to share their work at the end but, those who did, had created beautiful pages of watercoloured landscape. You can see a few below, or take a look at all our photos from the workshops in our Watercolour Gallery.
