Thetford Craft Group are a volunteer group that meet weekly on a Wednesday morning for a social crafting session. The group are currently working on a series of textile panels for the BFER project, celebrating the rivers of Thetford. The second of the three panels is underway and nearing completion, as today the amazing addition of the tactile river was added in.
The first panel was exhibited earlier this year at Thetford Library, showcasing the group’s fabulous crochet and knitting skills in a piece that celebrates the wildlife of Thetford’s rivers.
The second panel combines stitching and embroidery skills, celebrating Thetford’s riverscape that winds its way through the town centre.
