Stitching River Heritage

The second of the three Textile Rivers panels is complete!

Head to Thetford Library this Easter weekend and you will see this fabulous Thetford textile river scene created by the amazing volunteers from the Thetford Town Council craft group. The artwork is part of a series of three textile panels being created with the Brecks Fen Edge and Rivers Landscape Partnership Scheme, celebrating the amazing wildlife and heritage of Thetford’s riverside.
This amazingly detailed artwork is the second of the three panels in the series and captures the rich heritage of the riverside. Look out for the beautiful embroidered Charles Burrell Museum engine, Captain Mainwaring, Duleep Singh, and the Coffee Mill.
