The construction of a new jetty on the Little Ouse in the centre of Thetford is complete! It’s not an easy thing to build a structure half on land, half in water, but local Community Interest Company, Bush Adventures, are used to being in, on and around rivers and the prospect didn’t daunt them.
We’re thrilled with how it’s come together and hope this structure lasts, and is in use, for years to come.
This will not only provide better access to the water generally, but will greatly aid us and Bush Adventures to run more events that help people get onto the water and make the most of living in a town bisected by not one but two rivers!
