4.5 Volunteers explore Thetford’s River Tales
On the 10th October 2023, volunteers joined BFER Volunteer and Engagement Officer Nicole, and Tales from the River BFER Project Lead Imogen Radford, for a walk along Thetford’s rivers. The walk, was a planning session for the upcoming guided walk event, Thetford’s River Tales. This event is being promoted as part of the 2023 Walk Norfolk Festival, an accessible county wide walking festival by the organisation, Pathmakers. Those who have booked to join this event are in for a treat, as the riversides of the Little Ouse and Thet are awash with a rich heritage and fascinating stories. In addition to the history of the rivers, the event will make the most of the beautiful autumnal setting, and include sensory wellbeing activities.
