Did you miss our Made by the River exhibition at Ancient House in 2024? We’ve all been there and, the tricky thing about exhibitions is that they’re an amazing learning resource but, once they’re over, the resource is gone…until now! After great success digitising our Vikings on our Doorstep exhibition in 2023, we teamed up with Vortex Visual again and have created an amazing online version of our Made by the River exhibition.
This means the results of all the hard work of the volunteer researchers on our Industrious Rivers project and the team at Ancient House running our Celebrating River Heritage project remains accessible and continues to provide a long-lasting resource. These tours allows you to walk around the exhibition from the comfort of your home (or anywhere else), and view the exhibits, artefacts and interpretation materials.
This online resource means that a temporary exhibition is now accessible in perpetuity, and those who were not able to make to Ancient House Museum to see it live can now do so at their leisure.
