Join this gentle and sociable walk on Barnham Cross Common to explore its wildlife and learn how the site is managed to ensure a variety of species.
Barnham Cross Common is a Site of Special Scientific Interest owned and managed by Thetford Town Council, just on the doorstep of the town itself. Discover the birds, plants, insects and mammals that live within walking distance of the town, and meet the people who help nurture them. Join Thetford Conservation Group, a volunteer organisation who work closely with the Council to manage the site and learn about the Barnham Cross habitat-management calendar.
After the walk, stay for a chat over tea, coffee and biscuits.
