Wild About Thetford: Spring Edition
Go wild this Easter with free family activities celebrating nature. Make and decorate bird boxes, make wild-craft nests, create tasty treats for birds to eat, decorate eggs, and discover more about Thetford’s wildlife.
Thetford is a town with an amazing array of wildlife, from king fishers to otters, and rare plant species. With its two chalk rivers, The Little Ouse, and the Thet, Thetford has a diverse freshwater habitat. Thetford is also home to iconic Brecks heathland at Barnhamcross Common, as well as the beautiful bird reserve at Nunnery Lakes.
This Easter holiday, why not discover more, and celebrate the wildlife around you at this nature celebration in the heart of the town.
