Spoon & Bowl Carving Workshop

Woodworkers, Nick, Debbie and Sophie Gosman have been offering spoon and bowl-carving workshops from their home near Diss in rural Norfolk since 2018. Catering for beginners and improvers, our courses provide participants with the essential skills of an ancient craft that has its roots in the Norfolk-Suffolk area where they are based. Courses are run on planned dates at weekends or can be booked by arrangement. All tools are provided and workshops in spring, summer and autumn take place outdoors in our fabulous new rain shelter facility. Over the winter months courses are run indoors in our converted schoolhouse. Recently awarded a gold merit award from Craft Courses, participants appreciate the family atmosphere and our unhurried approach to teaching.
