Get in the festive spirit at this fun, family friendly Santa Run.
You will start and finish at the Guildhall in Thetford’s historic Market Place. In line with the theme, we would encourage you to wear festive fancy dress as there will be a prize for the best!
During the run, you will be supported by a friendly team of volunteer marshals who will help mark the way. This event is ideal for families for a fun pre-Christmas activity, and single running buggies are welcome. There is no cut-off time, and so you are welcome to walk, jog, or run at your own pace.
Registration opens at 9am and the run will start at 10am.
This event is a collaboration between The Brecks Fen Edge & Rivers Landscape Partnership (BFER), Run Breckland, and Thetford Town Council. The event is made possible with thanks to the support of the National Heritage Lottery Fund.
Terrain: Mostly on pavements with some short off road sections.
Age: Children may take part, but must be within arm’s reach of a responsible adult at all times, and all children are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
Facilities: Toilets are available at the Guildhall, and free tea, coffee, squash and mince pies at the finish line.
Transport: Thetford is accessible via train and bus, and free parking is available across the town centre.
