Join Run Breckland for a free 10K social group run following the River Little Ouse through Thetford and out into the surrounding area. This is an out and back route along trails following the path of the river.
Sometimes the trail is stony and grassy, but not tricky enough to need trail shoes. Depending on the weather, there may be some mud and/or puddles, but your group leaders will make sure everyone is aware of what’s coming up.
Under 16s are welcome but, as some paths are very close to the river, they must be accompanied by an adult from start to finish. Sorry, no dogs or running buggies for this one.
A group leader will run at the pace of the slowest runner although we may split the group along the way, as required. We’ll also be providing a route map and a GPX file to be used on your smart watch/phone. If you do run ahead of the group, it will be entirely your responsibility to find your way back to the finish line.
There is a limit of 20 runners for this event, first come first served.
Free parking. No toilets.
When: Sunday 1st June
Start Time: The group run will start at 18:00, but please arrive at least ten minutes earlier for a run briefing.
