The Brecks Wellbeing Festival

Connecting Social Prescribing, Nature, and Heritage, across the Norfolk and Suffolk Brecks.

Join The Brecks Fen Edge and Rivers Landscape Partnership Scheme (BFER), and the Restoration Trust, for a special wellbeing event in the heart of the Brecks.

The Brecks Wellbeing Festival will promote wellbeing opportunities across the Norfolk and Suffolk Brecks. BFER works with a wide range of heritage, nature, and arts organisations across the Brecks, which offer activities, projects and volunteering opportunities that support wellbeing. The Brecks Wellbeing Festival will create connections between these organisations with Norfolk and Suffolk healthcare providers, social prescribers, and individuals seeking wellbeing opportunities in the Brecks. This will help to create opportunities for individuals and communities to reconnect to their local landscape and heritage through activities that support healthy physical and mental wellbeing.

The Brecks Wellbeing Festival will feature:

  • Keynote speeches on social prescribing and human-nature connections
  • An exhibitor marketplace showcasing wellbeing offerings
  • Networking opportunities and discussion groups
  • Opportunities to experience immersive wellbeing taster activities, including forest bathing, bush craft, textile crafts, and creative response sharing.
