Tales from the River: Illustrated Online Talk

Come and hear the story of the Brecks waterways and how people interacted with them over the last century, all illustrated with old photographs donated by local people.

Throughout the BFER project, volunteers have been gathering memories and images from local people about their experience of the rivers in the Brecks as part of Tales from the River. Join this online talk and hear tales of swimming, fishing, boating, festivals, regattas, baptism and other activities. We will also look at how these places for recreation were important for trade, transport and industry on the rivers.
