A chance to explore a lovely riverside path and to hear stories of river recreation and industry as we pass some historic swim locations and remnants of navigation infrastructure. Then enjoy your own river recreation with one swim halfway at our picnic stop, and another swim at the end. This guided walk will allow you to immerse fully in and experience the river and its beauty.
Led by Imogen Radford and OSBrecks volunteers.

Further Swimming Information:
Participants taking part in the outdoor swimming during the cycle ride will do so at their own risk. We will provide information on safety and risks on the day, but there will be no bathing water quality testing, lifeguarding or supervision, and people will be responsible for their own safety and that of any vulnerable or dependent people in their care. We would recommend only taking part in the swim if you have had previous experience of swimming outdoors and be able to swim. If you would like to take part but have no or limited experience of outdoor swimming, we are holding Introduction to Outdoor Swimming sessions as part of the festival (which will have bathing water quality testing).
