Superheroes – Yoga & Mindfulness Summer Camp

Join us for a thrilling day of superhero-themed fun at our summer yoga day camp! Children aged 7-11 will arrive at superhero training school where they’ll channel their superpowers through yoga, mindfulness exercises, games, crafts, quizzes, and relaxation. This action-packed day is designed to inspire, energise, and engage all our young heroes.

 

Activities Planned for the Day:

  • Superhero Yoga: Come to superhero training school to find and hone your superpowers.
  • Mindfulness Exercises: Techniques to enhance focus, relaxation, and self-awareness, helping each child find their inner strength and calm.
  • Fun Games & Superhero Quiz: Exciting superhero-themed games, quizzes, and activities that promote teamwork, laughter, and fun!
  • Superhero Craft Activities: Children will have the opportunity to express their creativity by designing their own superhero masks and capes.
  • ‘Super Senses’ Mindfulness Walk – Use your super senses to touch, see, smell, taste and hear.

 

Superheroes – Yoga & Mindfulness Summer Camp

When: Wednesday 24th July

Where: West Stow Country Park, Icklingham Road, West Stow, Bury Saint Edmunds IP28 6HG

Time: 10am-3pm

Ages: All activities will be tailored to suit the age range of 7-11 and will prioritise fun, learning, and enjoyment.

Cost: Fully funded with thanks to the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund

Facilitator: This event will be led by Jordanna Campbell from Jordanna Offers Yoga.

 

What to Bring: To make the most of their adventure, children should come prepared with the following:

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for physical movement
  • Sunscreen (already applied)
  • Sunhat
  • Sunglasses (optional)
  • Packed lunch (nut-free) and a labelled water bottle
  • A break time snack
  • (optional) a yoga mat

 

Note: This camp day is made possible by the generous funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund through the BFER project. The event organisers will ensure a safe environment throughout the day, with professionally qualified staff present. All activities will be age-appropriate and designed to provide a memorable and enjoyable adventure.
