Sketchbook Stroll

On this relaxed guided stroll, you will join local artists from Art Branches to explore the tranquil landscapes of Lackford Lakes Nature Reserve. Along the way you will spot interesting patterns and views found in nature. Using materials including charcoal and pencils, you will playfully experiment with mark making to capture the sense of place in a sketchbook as you explore.

No prior art experience is required. This walk is suitable for all levels and will be a fun opportunity for creativity in a beautiful Brecks landscape.

Lackford Lakes Nature Reserve is wildlife oasis of lakes, reedbed, meadow and woodland, managed by Suffolk Wildlife Trust. Throughout the year, it is a fabulous haven of birds, dragonflies, and wildflowers.

This guided Sketchbook Stroll is part of a Watery Wildlife Discovery Day at Lackford Lakes, hosted by Suffolk Wildlife Trust for the Brecks Outdoor Festival. Find out more about the other activities that will be taking place onsite on Saturday 14th September HERE.
