River Exploration & Axe Throwing Experiences

Have a go at a new adventure at our Brecks Outdoor Festival launch day! Explore the scenic River Lark on canoes and paddle boards for a fun family activity on the water. No experience necessary. The Bush Adventures instructors will help you get the hang of things so that you can make the most of your time on the water!

For those that wish to remain firmly on the ground, why not unleash your inner Viking! Have a go at axe throwing guided by the Bush Adventures team!

Time: Drop in from 10am – 4pm. Paddle sports available for 1 hour timeslots.

Cost:

Canoe: £25 per hour

Stand up paddle board: £15 per hour

Axe throwing: £10 per 5 goes (3 axes per go)

Ages: All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult throughout. Axe throwing is for ages 8+ with parental supervision.

 

Further Information:

Accessibility: This event will be based on Jubilee Fields, Mildenhall. This is a grassy recreation ground, and may be wet or muddy underfoot. If you have any questions or concerns about accessibility, please contact the Bush Adventures team to assist: team@bushadventuresuk.org

 

Transport: The closest bus stop is located at St Mary’s Church, Mildenhall, which is a 5 minute walk from the meeting point. Find information about bus times and services on bustimes.org. Free car parking is available in the car park adjacent to Jubilee Fields.

 

What to wear/bring: Closed toe shoes are essential, no flipflops. Please bring a towel and change of clothes if going on the water.

 

Dogs: Dogs on leads are welcome
