Park Run & Yoga Warm-Up

Wake up your weekend with a fun and free activity at Abbey Meadows, Thetford. Join Thetford Park Run, a free organised group running event open to all. Whether a walker, jogger, or runner, all are welcome to take part in this 5k circuit.

As a special edition to mark the launch of the Brecks Outdoor Festival, this event will include a pre-run yoga warm up with local Yoga ledged, Yoga with Tracey. Join Tracey for a pre-run stretch, helping to wake up your muscles and get the blood flowing.


Park Run & Yoga Warm-Up

When: Saturday 7th September

Where: Abbey Meadows, Thetford (commencing at Priory Car Park, IP24 1BB).

Time: For the yoga warm up, please arrive for 8.25am. The Park Run commences at 9am.

Cost: Free of charge, with no need to pre-book. Please note the the yoga warm up is for Park Run participants only. If you are new to Park Run, please register online for free to receive your Park Run barcode. This will allow you to receive a your run time after the event has taken place. Register via

What should I wear/bring?: Please wear your usual Park Run attire, or comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. Please dress appropriately for the weather, and wear footwear suitable for running or walking. The warm up will take place outside, on the grass and will consist of standing postures only, so no yoga mats needed. You may wish to bring a bottle of water.
