Nature Therapy for the Relief of Menopause Symptoms

Join a programme of nature supported wellbeing walks in the heart of the Brecks, led by Nature Therapy Practitioner, Gina Geremia.

This is a six-week programme designed to relieve menopausal symptoms and restore a general sense of wellbeing. Through the programme, you will:
  • Identify your personal wellbeing goals.
  • Connect with like-minded people.
  • Discover gentle ways to care for yourself.
  • Develop ways to relieve symptoms.
  • Enhance your overall sense of wellbeing.
  • Deepen social connections and your connection to nature.
  •  Develop a sense of place with the natural world around you.

Nature Therapy for the Relief of Menopause Symptoms

 

SCHEDULE
The programme begins on 8th March with a virtual meeting to introduce the programme, process and methods, and discuss symptoms and wellbeing goals.

Following this, a series of 6 forest bathing walks will be held on Saturdays at different locations throughout the Brecks Fen Edge & Rivers area.
8th March – Virtual Meeting (PM)
11th March – Forest Bathing 1
18th March – Forest Bathing 2
25th March – Forest Bathing 3
1st April – Forest Bathing 4
8h April – Easter Weekend (break)
15th April – Forest Bathing 5
22nd April – Forest Bathing 6
This programme is free of charge because of the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

*This nature therapy programme is facilitated through Healing Waters, Breathe the Brecks, a health and wellbeing project delivered as part of the Brecks Fen Edge and Rivers Landscape partnership scheme (BFER). BFER is a programme of projects working to celebrate and conserve the unique landscapes and heritage of the Norfolk and Suffolk Brecks, with particular focus on Brecks rivers. Healing Waters, Breathe the Brecks provides opportunities for communities to reconnect to the landscape of the Brecks through healthy outdoor activities.
