Join BFER and Run Breckland for a family friendly Riverside Run exploring the River Lark at Mildenhall.
Mildenhall 2K/5K River Run
Whether a walker or runner, all are welcome to this community event. There is both a 2k and a 5k option. With no cut-off time, you can go at your own pace while enjoying the tranquil riverside scenery. All participants will receive a medal at the finish line.
The 5k route will explore the scenic River Lark footpath, from Jubilee Fields to Barton Mills. The route will then loop through the village back to the start following part of the Barton Mills Millennium Walk.
The 2k route will loop around Mildenhall’s Jubilee Fields, and is ideal for children as runners will be in sight at all times.
Games and activities will be available on Jubilee Fields, including ball ponds, swing ball, and skittles. With plenty of space it is the perfect spot for a post-run picnic to enjoy afterwards.
