Microscopic Marvels Digital Microscope Walk
Explore the beautiful nature habitats of Brandon Country Park in a whole new experience. On this relaxed and friendly guided walk, you will use microscope lenses to see the incredible details found in nature that would normally go unnoticed. You will be provided with a 40X microscopic clip-on lens that works with almost all modern smartphones to use during the walk. This will allow you to get an incredibly detailed view of the natural world. You will explore a wide range of interesting organisms in nature such as lichen, fungi, plants, insects and other animals in a detail we never normally get to see.
Using the clip-on lens will also allow you to take pictures using your own phone, and so this walk doubles up as a great introduction to macro photography that is accessible to anyone who has a smartphone.
