In search of our feathered friends….

With binoculars at the ready, NWT Ambassador Nick Acheson takes us on a guided walk around Thompson Common and Water. Discover some of the birds that make this tranquil reserve so special.

Thompson Water, located in the western part of Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s Thompson Common reserve, is a fantastic place from which to spot a range of birds. These can include woodland species, such as wrens and tree creepers, as well as reedbed and wetland specialists, such as hobbies, marsh harriers and swans. What will you discover?
