Join nature and foraging enthusiast Jon Tyler on a guided exploration of Brandon Country Park, to learn about different seasonal species of wild foods.
Situated in the heart of the Brecks not far from the River Little Ouse, Brandon Country Park is a wonderful wild landscape of forest and heathland.

This walk is hosted by the Brecks Fen Edge and Rivers Landscape partnership scheme, and made possible with the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund. This walk is as part of Walk Norfolk 2022, an accessible walking festival delivered by Pathmakers. Pathmakers is a charity dedicated to improving access to the Norfolk Countryside for people of all abilities and backgrounds.
Date: Saturday 22nd October
Location: The Engine House, Brandon Country Park
Times: The walk will take place in the morning, and be repeated in the afternoon. Please book on to either the morning or the afternoon session.
Cost: £5 per adult, children under 16 free of charge. (The cost of this event is heavily subsidised due to the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, who support the Brecks Fen Edge and Rivers Landscape partnership scheme to facilitate inclusive engagement opportunities).

Parking: Parking is available at the Orchard Car Park located a few minutes’ walk away from the Engine House: https://w3w.co/fairy.mainframe.station

Disabled parking is available outside the Engine House. Please request access prior to the event: bfer.admin@suffolk.gov.uk
Terrain: Brandon Country Park has a variety of terrain. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for the weather. The paths are uneven in places. If your mobility is impaired, please let us know in advance so that we can arrange safe access.
