Festive wild crafts
Get ready to deck the halls at this creative festive BFER workshop.
In this workshop, you will explore natural materials and basic weaving techniques to make seasonal decorative crafts.
Begin with a short walk to Thetford riverside, where you will collect local natural materials, which you will then use to create all natural decorations. Have a go at hoop creation, star making, and natural wreath making.
All crafts will be made using willow, alder, dogwood and other natural materials.

Travel: There are several large free car parks in Thetford town centre, within a short 5 minute walking distance from the Guildhall. Car parks locations include Cage Lane, and Tanner Street. The Guildhall is also located 10 minutes walk from Thetford bus station, and 15 minutes walk from Thetford train station.
This workshop will be delivered in partnership with Jon Tyler. Jon Tyler is an experienced forager and bush-craft practitioner with a natural passion and enthusiasm for wildlife, wild food and outdoor living. For more information, visit: wildforwoods.co.uk
