Looking for something to do in the Easter holidays? Join this leisurely, accessible walk along the paths, green spaces and river in Brandon. With activities along the way and river stories too, it’s a great chance for the family to learn more about the history and wildlife in the area.
The walk starts and finishes at Brandon Leisure Centre where there is parking and access to facilities and refreshments. We will follow a route including the Avenue, the Orchard and the playing fields and down to the river. The walk will finish with free tea and coffee at the leisure centre!
The walk will be led by Imogen Radford, project lead, and other volunteers from Tales from the River, a BFER project that gathered a wide range of local stories about recreation and the Brecks fen edge and rivers.
