Discover the wonders of the twilight world of West Stow Country Park. Join Night Explorer, Jon Tyler, for a winter evening odyssey of astronomy, wildlife encounters, and sensory adventure.

West Stow Country Park is a landscape of 125 acres of unspoiled countryside, with heathland, woodland, and the River Lark. The Country Park surrounds the ancient and historically significant site of West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village. You will join a gentle guided stroll through this fantastic landscape, experiencing an exciting sensory adventure with an array of activity and observation.

Please wrap up warm, wear sturdy footwear, and be prepared for a journey mainly in the dark. Head torches will be provided for the walk itself, but you may wish to bring a torch.

Where: West Stow Country Park, Icklingham Road, West Stow, Suffolk IP28 6HG

Time: 6.30pm-8.30pm (please arrive by 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start)

Meeting Point: Outside the West Stow Country Park and Anglo-Saxon Village Visitor centre

Age: Please note this event is for ages 7+. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult throughout.

Cancellations: If after booking you are no longer able to attend, please contact the BFER team asap to let them know, so that the event leader can be informed and tickets can be reallocated. Unexplained non-attendances at events negatively impact our ability to deliver future subsidised events and activities.

What to wear: Please wrap up warm with clothing suitable for the weather, and wear sturdy footwear. The walk will take place mainly in the dark at a slow pace, and so please wear warm clothing and layers, and rain protection. Head torches will be provided for the walk itself, but you may wish to bring a torch.

Dogs: Please do not bring dogs (assistance dogs only)
