‘Come and Try It’ Cycle Ride

Have you ever wanted to explore the scenic landscapes of the Brecks on two wheels?

Celebrate the launch of the Brecks Outdoor Festival with this fun and friendly group cycle ride, starting and ending at Jubilee Fields, Mildenhall. During the event, you will join volunteers from Mildenhall Cycling Club, who will guide you on a leisurely group ride.

This event welcomes all levels of experience, from group bike ride beginners, to more regular riders. Cycling is a fantastic way to explore your local area, while supporting your physical and mental wellbeing.

On the day, the distance and pace will be determined by the group. Supported by volunteers, and with no pressure to go further then you are comfortable with, this event will allow all participants to enjoy a bike ride suited to their own level. The event will include a café stop where you will have the opportunity to purchase refreshments should you wish to.

This event will take place as part of the launch day of the Brecks Outdoor Festival, a two week celebration of the landscapes and heritage of the Norfolk and Suffolk Brecks. Throughout the day, there will be additional drop-in activities to take part in at Jubilee Fields, guided walks, and information stalls from BFER and other local organisations.

After taking part in this cycle ride, why not have a go at canoeing or stand up paddle boarding on the river, try your hand at axe throwing, or enjoy a picnic on the riverside green!
