Calling all Brecks Creatives!

Do you have something creative to share about your connection with the Brecks? This year’s Closing Ceremony of the Brecks Outdoor Festival is for you!

Following a centuries old tradition of ‘Beating the Bounds’ on Brandon’s Nine Stiles Walk, we’re gathering in the orchard for a celebration of the landscape and community with Brandon Open Music Group as house band. To mark the closing of the Brecks Outdoor Festival, we will end with a special Closing Ceremony and Open Mic inviting all Brecks creatives from writers, to musicians to actors to contribute. Come and share something, or just come to watch!

Join us in the orchard and bring something creative to tell us:

  • What connects you to where you live?
  • Why are you here? What’s special about the Brecks to you and what would you like to share about it with others?
  • Or tell us the story of a significant moment in the Brecks.

Poetry, fiction, songs, anecdotes – this is an open mic for us all, the people of the Brecks, whichever part of it is home. Bring something to share for others to hear your voice.
