Join us on this family workshop to learn about the brilliant birds of Thompson Common. We will explore the different habitats on site, and the variety of birds that can be found in each, using binoculars to see what we can spot!
Suitable for ages 4+ (children must be supervised at all times)

Where: Thompson Common Great Eastern Pingo Trail Car Park, Stow Bedon NR17 1DP
Time: 10am – 11:30am
Booking: £4 per child for NWT Members, £5 per child for non-members, accompanying adults go free. Admin charge applies.
Accessibility:
The site is accessible via footpaths. There is a kissing gate crossing the path, which can be tricky for push-chairs and there are numerous waterbodies present (children must be supervised at all times).
Further Information:
- Long-sleeves and trousers advised, and use of insect repellent (ticks and mosquitoes on site)
- Sturdy shoes are advised
- Please bring water and sun protection in hot weather
- Please note – there is no visitor centre on-site but there will be a portaloo.
