7.5k Jackdaw Social Run

Join a free 7.5K group run following footpaths and byways in and around Honington and Troston in Suffolk. Whether you are an experienced 7.5k runner, or someone looking to challenge yourself for a longer run, this is a great opportunity to explore running in a new area. It is also a chance to join a friendly and social  non-competitive group run, led by a qualified guide.

The group leader will run at the pace of the slowest runner. For those wishing to go ahead, each runner will be supplied with a route map and a GPX file to be used on your smart watch/phone.

Meeting Point: Further information on the meeting point will be shared upon booking.

Accessibility: The run will be on undulating and mixed terrain run on sand, stones, grass, tarmac, woodland tracks and fields. Depending on the weather, there may be tricky parts including mud and puddles, but your group leader will make sure everyone is aware of what’s coming up. Under 16s may only participate if they remain within an arm’s reach of an adult at all times. Transport: The closest bus stop is located on Poplar Close, Honington, approximately 4 minutes walk away. For information on bus timetables, visit bustimes.org

Road side parking will be available. Further information will be provided upon booking.

 

What to wear/bring: Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement and trainers, and bring a bottle of water. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
