We want you to enjoy and celebrate the unique range of products the Brecks has to offer.

Included in the list of producers are places to buy and eat locally farmed and harvested crops, varying from asparagus to apples and blueberries, as well as fine organic meat, fish, poultry and cheese. There are also locally produced apple juices, wines and ales.

Local produce

Buying locally means that money stays in the local community and grows the local economy. Prdouce which travels less reduces road miles which, in turn, means that the product is fresher for you!

The market towns of the Brecks are a haven for shoppers. They offer a wide range of shops and boutiques and markets. Farmers markets are also regularly held which give both residents and visitors an opportunity to sample local, fresh produce. Click here to learn more about our market towns and their markets.

We hope that you share in our enthusiasm for the Brecks and delight in its distinctiveness through buying local products”

Award winning artists

The Brecks has also inspired many award winning artists to create a variety of arts and crafts from a selection of materials ranging from ceramics to wood sculpture.

Arts and crafts are a part of our natural resources, as they interpret the landscape and environment whilst also utilising the natural materials available.
