The following Brecks tourism businesses have achieved either a Green Tourism Business Scheme Award or David Bellamy Conservation Award

Green Tourism Business Scheme

Each business which has received this award has demonstrated their commitment to a more sustainable environment. The scheme is based on the implementation of a range of actions helping the environment and local area.

Areas assessed included energy saving, purchasing, waste minimisation, transport, wildlife and local produce. Examples of good practice include using energy saving light bulbs, recycling waste, using recycled products and using local produce on menus.
